A new electronic water bill payment kiosk has been installed in the west parking lot of City Hall, 151 W. Church St., replacing the old envelope drop box. The computer device now in use is the Justified Automated Collections Kiosk (JACK).
According to Cindy Hayes, WADC customer service manager, “It was installed to help our customers. To give people more opportunities, different ways to pay.” The new payment kiosk allows WADC customers to pay their water/sewer bill with cash, check, credit card or debit card. Hayes advised that the previous drop box did not allow for credit card or debit card payments.
By entering their address or part of an address, last name, or account number, anyone with a Lewisville utility account can pay their outstanding bill and receive a printed receipt. JACK accepts currency, checks or debit and credit cards. There is no cost to residents to use JACK.
The JACK system in Old Town is available for use 24 hours a day.
